My name is Chris Hughes and I live in midtown Omaha, NE in a 1920′s bungalow with my wife and son.  I spend my time reading and learning about interesting, beautiful objects.  Ship Inside Bottle is my opportunity to celebrate my passion for Americana, vintage apparel (particularly work wear and military), and well-made objects.

I recently started a project called Artifact Bag Co., where I design and manufacture handmade objects using waxed canvas and leather.

I also deal in antiques, vintage clothing, and military collectibles and have a site devoted to militaria called Rally Point Militaria.
